Do not apply to these Nigerian Universities.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has warned candidates to stay away from 58 universities which the commission described as illegal.

In a bulleting dated 14/5/18 and made available to National Daily, the commission said the universities are operating illegally in the country, adding that certificates obtained from any of the institutions are invalid.

“For the avoidance of doubt, anybody who patronises or obtains any certificate from any of these illegal institutions does so at his or her own risk,” the publication read.

The commission said certificates obtained from the institutions will not be recognised for the purposes of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), employment and further studies.

It also called on the relevant law enforcement agencies to take necessary action.

JAMB change of course and institution closing date 2018

This started when the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board issues the form. It closing, and when the university or college of your choice starts the screening. It means that basically, the deadline depends on the institution of your choice.

If you are gainining your admission to  the university through the Direct Entry scheme, you will need watch out for  it when it will be announced that the special direct entry forms are out. This will be the closing date for the direct entry candidates’ correction time.

Right now it’s official that the date correction form has already been issued. If you want to change course and institution, you need to buy it, fill out and submit, and do all this before your university starts their screening. You must not EXCEED THE DEADLINE or else you loose your chances of a successful admission this year.

How to do JAMB change of course

The form has been released in the previous month by JAMB and it costs N2,500.

The steps to take are as follows:

Enter the official JAMB portal and log in with your regular information

Open your profile menu

Select the line that says “UTME data correction”

Choose the payment method: you are allowed to pay at a bank or online

After you have executed the payment, you need to keep in mind the following points:

Make sure the course you would like to take instead of your previous choice is available

Make sure you have enough points to enter the institution of your choice (namely, it makes sense to check out the departmental cut off marks)

Make sure the subjects of your screening match the subjects of the course of your new choice.

It is obvious that the process is as simple as  and easy to follow. The correction proceess isn't difficult. We wish you all success in your studies!
